John G. Hanson
John enlisted on March 30, 1942 to serve in the Army. He trained at Camp Robinson, Arkansas; Camp Edwards, Massachusetts and Camp San Luis Obispo, California. He was discharged from the Army August 26, 1943.
Elden Laverne Kimmel
Elden enlisted on November 11, 1941 in the Army Air Corps. He trained at Keesler Field, Mississipi; Lowery Field, Colorado; Spokane, Washington; New Mexico; New Jersey and Connecticut. He embarked overseas in Augut of 1942 where he served in the European theatre. He received the Air Medal with One Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart. He served for 14 months befor he was killed in action January 7th, 1943 in Northwest Africa.
