My first attendance at the pause was in the late 90’s as an Army Reservist assigned to A Co., 863rd Engineer Company, Kankakee, IL. Later, my son and I both participated in the Pause event while he was a Scout with Pack 319. In 2015, Rick Kimmel asked for my participation as a Board Member. After 34 years of Military service and 20 years with the Illinois State Police, I was honored to continue to assist / support our Military and First Responders while strengthening our community. I currently serve as the President, GOEL Training and Consultants Inc.
